We have started our harvest with wonderful Estate Sauvignon Blanc!

As Harvest nears, it’s important to see what flavors develop with further ripening of the grapes. Our winemaker Desiree will choose the ideal time to harvest them!

Our Cellar Master Vicente & Cellar Hand Moya are hard at work blending our 2023 vintage! They’re working on blending our Synchrony wine before returning it to barrel so the wine can age for 19 months to enhance the flavors with our French Oak barrel program.

As we get closer to harvest, vineyard management is key for us! When we sucker a vineyard, we are thinning the vines to help produce better vines as well as making sure they receive the nutrients and energy they need. This also helps us ensure high concentration of flavors and quality of the grapes.

Desiree has been with Krupp Brothers for six years and we are so incredibly lucky to have her be such an integral part of our team. Celebrating another woman in wine, we’d like to cheers our cellar hand & sales associate Moya Silva! Born and raised in Napa, Moya first started at Krupp Brothers in 2018 as a harvest intern to grow her appreciation for wine and how much effort went into the process from vine to bottle.

In honor of Women’s History Month, we salute the trailblazing women winemakers who are changing the face of the industry, including our very own Desiree O’Donovan.
