I liked the structure of the classes where each session was used effectively since there was plenty of material to cover. Focusing on the problems that I got wrong on the different tests was helpful as in this way we didn't spend time reviewing topics that I was confident in. I found the pacing tips that my tutors gave me very helpful. Doing practice in the Barrons' book was helpful because it made the red book ACT tests seem easier. My tutors were very helpful, supportive and positive throughout the course. The structure of the sessions allowed me to gain practice with taking the test accurately and efficiently while addressing conceptual weaknesses that I had.

I think the whole process was definitely very helpful, and I feel your tutoring methods were effective.

In regards to the Barron’s practices, I think they were very helpful. They exposed me to a variety of different questions, prepared me for the harder questions on the SAT, and made me feel more comfortable with the test generally.

I think the who process and approach was effective as well. It’s very useful to get an explanation of why the answer you chose was wrong, and to be able to see the thought process that leads to a right answer.

The SUMMIT SYLLABUS - I still think it’s probably necessary to help transition into having the right mindset to tackle the SAT and helped me brush up on some things I may have forgotten.

I think both of you did a very good job at explaining strategies to get correct answers, along with the thought process and rationale behind the answers I got wrong. I think Zoom worked well; especially so for math since I was able to very clearly see how the problem was being tackled.

Yes, I’d definitely recommend this to friends at school as a way to improve their score. I think it’s been very helpful to me, and wasn’t too intensive either.

Going into ACT Prep with Mr. and Mrs. Kaliher, I was frustrated and did not think I would ever bring my scores up to where they needed to be. Quite honestly, I was not comfortable with the format of the test, would consistently run out of time, and had no idea what some of the questions on science were even asking. After getting through most of the syllabus work at the beginning, I started to feel more comfortable, and I began to learn from my mistakes through Mr. and Mrs. Kaliher's stellar explanations. I used the Barron's Book and the ACT Prep Guide. I noticed a substantial difference in the level of difficulty between the two, with Barron's challenging me the most. However, I now appreciate this challenge. I think it was very beneficial to mess up and run out of time on the harder tests because they prepared me for the hardest of questions. I cannot thank Mr. and Mrs. Kaliher enough for their flexibility, patience, and overall help in preparing me for the ACT. This year has been filled with such uncertainty. However, they were always willing to accomodate my crazy busy schedule and reschedule most of my prep sessions after my tests were cancelled.
