They set out to lose weight and build strength primarily. Matt strength trains several times a week and was put on a custom meal plan to fit his goals.
8 months in, and I'd have to say Matt has been sticking to the plan 😅 Not only is he living a healthier life now, but he has the physique to prove it. 💪

Midpoint Progress update!
Ana Hixon is down just over 10lbs in the last 2 months after coaching with Jake 🤯 She strength trains 2x weekly and includes 2 aerobic cardio days between.
She has been using our meal planning also! We set her up a more protein conscious diet and removed soy/gluten with limited dairy intake. Her reflux is now far less frequent, inflammation is almost gone entirely, and her energy levels are back to normal! Now her grand babies are getting the best of their Grannie 🥲

"Robert was born and raised in Houston, Texas before joining the U.S. Army in 2004, where he became an Airborne Combat Medic. Having served for 11 years with multiple selection to compete at all Army best medic competition San Antonio (2012 and 2013), and multiple deployments to Afghanistan, he found a greater love for fitness and a newfound respect for preventative care and rehabilitation. Robert obtained his B.S. of Exercise Science with minor in Nutrition from University of Colorado 2018, followed by completion of his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Regis University, Denver Co. 2021. His hobbies include and are not limited to hiking/ trail running, Spartan/ Tough Mudder Races, IFBB/ NPC Bodybuilding, travel, cars, skydiving, movies of all years and genre, oil pastel art, video games, culinary cooking, and the list cont……. I'm always looking for something new and exciting."

William Jacob Hixon arrived on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 weighing in at a whopping 9lbs! His hobbies include eating, sleeping, and encouraging mom and dad to get him a fresh diaper every half hour 😂 he's a big fan of his older brother, and dislikes the cold, and 99% of existing pacifiers on the market.
Our hearts are full, and we want to thank our friends, our family, our team, our members, and the community who pulled together to give us all the love and support!

Give a warm welcome to Dr. Courtney Brown. She joined our team last week, and is officially accepting clients!
Courtney grew up just north of San Antonio, but traveled further north to receive her Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Exercise, and Health Science from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. As a multi-sport athlete in high school, Courtney knew she always wanted to make fitness and athletics a priority. Courtney carried her education further and graduated in May 2022 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and decided to return to Texas to practice. Courtney has been a certified personal trainer for four years and enjoys helping clients move safely and efficiently to best meet their goals. Outside of the gym and clinic, Courtney enjoys being on the water and listening to live music!
