When this happens, seek professional medical care and use the RICE method to treat.

It’s nap time! 💤 For infants under 6 months old, the amount of time they nap will vary. For babies 6-9 months old, you can expect them to get about 3 hours total from their naps. As children get older, the amount of time they nap should decrease. For example, if your child is 3-4 years old, they should only be napping for up to 90 minutes each day.

😴 Share your favorite naptime rituals in the comments below and tag a fellow parent who could use these tips!

Spring weather can be unpredictable! ☀️☔🥶🌼

Make sure your child is dressed appropriately. The rule of thumb is to put babies and toddlers in one more layer than what you’re comfortable wearing. So, for example, if you are feeling alright in a t-shirt and jeans, your baby may need long-sleeved footed pajamas, or a onesie, pants, socks, and sweatshirt.

Roses are red, violets are blue, healthy relationships of all kinds have green flags - it’s true!

As children get older, they will develop all different kinds of relationships with others outside of the home. If you notice a teen start to exhibit physical or verbal aggression, personality changes, school avoidance, or extreme shyness, these might be signs that they are involved in a social interaction – romantic or platonic – that is unhealthy.
