Existen muchas razones para que esto suceda por ejemplo:

1. Crecimiento por Etapas:
* Los bebés experimentan períodos de crecimiento acelerado (picos de crecimiento) donde pueden tener un mayor apetito, seguidos de períodos de crecimiento más lento donde su apetito puede disminuir.

2. Desarrollo y Movilidad:
* A medida que los bebés comienzan a moverse más, como al gatear o caminar, pueden estar más interesados en explorar su entorno que en comer.
* El desarrollo de habilidades nuevas puede hacer que estén más distraídos durante las comidas.

3. Enfermedades y Malestares:
* Enfermedades comunes como resfriados, infecciones del oído, dentición o malestar estomacal pueden reducir el apetito temporalmente.
* Fiebre o malestar general también pueden causar una disminución en el apetito.

4. Preferencias Alimentarias:
* Los bebés pueden desarrollar preferencias por ciertos alimentos y rechazar otros, lo que puede hacer que parezca que no están comiendo tanto.
* La introducción de nuevos alimentos puede afectar temporalmente el apetito mientras el bebé se acostumbra a nuevos sabores y texturas.

5. Cambios en la Rutina:
* Cambios en la rutina diaria, como viajar o cambios en el cuidado del bebé, pueden afectar temporalmente el apetito.
* Transiciones importantes, como el destete de la lactancia materna o el biberón a alimentos sólidos, también pueden influir en la cantidad de alimentos que consume.

6. Desarrollo de la Autonomía:
* A medida que los bebés crecen, pueden comenzar a mostrar más independencia y preferir alimentarse solos, lo que puede resultar en comer menos durante este proceso de aprendizaje.
