Q***r artists between ages 13 - 26 in NYC are invited to submit their original work engaging with the theme of “Rest and Resilience” by March 1st. Accepted mediums include photography, drawing, painting, collage, and digital art.

Three winners will receive cash prizes between $100 - $200 and one lucky artist will win a mentorship with interdisciplinary artist Dominika Ksel! Selected works will be shown in person at the Brooklyn Community Pride Center in Crown Heights and hosted online by Open Source Gallery, with opportunities to sell your work.

Trans rights are human rights, and we are making sure that is enshrined in New York law. I just signed two bills today so transgender New Yorkers can use their chosen names & pronouns on utility bills and add protections to victims of s*x trafficking. We will always protect and affirm trans New Yorkers across our state.
