Good morning dancing family, the stars are aligning tonight! Between the super harvest blood moon and partial eclipse happening during our session, my intention for NYCityWaves is to Trans-dance-meditate with the potent energy and gifts of this celestial alignment.

The harvest moon is a full moon closest to the Fall Equinox, marking the time of completion, reflection & abundance. This is the perfect time for manifesting your deepest desires and letting go of what no longer serves you.

The Harvest moon is known to help us ripe the rewards of our hard work, both physically and spiritually. It’s a time of abundance, gratitude, and inner transformation. We’re given the opportunity to reflect on the growth we’ve experienced in the past year, release old patterns and step into a new chapter with clarity and intention.

The great art of life is sensation, to feel that we exist, even in pain.

Sensation is the act of receiving stimulus and our knowledge of it continues to expand. Kinesthetic awareness tells us that there are sensory organs in our muscles and joints. Vestibular sensations arise in the inner ear and are receptors of body rotation, gravitation and movement. Even our hair cells send out signals over the auditory nerve.

The 5Rhythms movement meditation is an opportunity to explore the continuous process of embodied sensation and perception. Please join us when you are able.

Dear Philly dance community,

I couldn’t be more jazzed for my first 5Rhythms weekend with you.
My 5Rhythms journey began in 2002 and I’ve been dancing with you in Philly for over a decade now. I am honored to step in and offer to this community alongside all the incredible teachers and space holders that have offered their guidance in Philly.
I believe we both as individuals and communities (NYC & PHILLY) have been through the full spectrum of the wave in our lives, especially over the past few years.

As an Israeli & American, the amount of turmoil right now is immense. It’s with great humility and a fair amount of brokenness that I’m calling in a dance of Unity, Togetherness, Fierce Acceptance, Forgiveness and Courage.

I hope you can join me as we come together and walk this path of the unknown and face, with bravery, the uncertainty that lies ahead.
