Today, Consul General Ofir Akunis - אופיר אקוניס met with Yoav Tzivoni, a combat medic in a special unit who lost his right leg and sustained critical injuries defending Israel in Gaza. He resiliently endured over 30 surgeries and spent weeks in intensive care.

Yosef Haim Ohana was abducted by Hamas from the Nova Festival on October 7th. Amid the chaos, he was last seen helping the wounded before taking cover under a car. It has now been 342 days, and today, on his 24th birthday, he is still in captivity in Gaza. We won’t stop until he is home.

Yesterday, Rachel Goldberg-Polin faced the unthinkable. After 330 agonizing days waiting for her 23-year-old son Hersh to return from captivity in Gaza, his body was found—executed by Hamas.

Today, three Israeli police officers were murdered by Palestinian terrorists near Hebron. Officer Arik Ben Eliyahu leaves behind a wife and three children, Officer Hadas Barantz leaves behind a husband and three children, and Officer Roni Shakuri, whose daughter was killed on October 7th, leaves behind a wife, daughter, and granddaughter.

A terror organization that murders hostages has no interest in making a deal.

The hostage crisis is an international issue. The whole world must come together to bring the remaining hostages home.
