En colaboración con El Centro de Paz Barbara Ford, Global Healthworks Foundation continuó nuestras obras médicas de salud para proveer de manera segura tratamientos de acupuntura y moxibustión, medicinas naturales a base de plantas, masajes terapéuticos y otros servicios de atención médica de forma segura a cientos de pacientes, esto en algunas comunidades rurales en el departamento de Quiché, Guatemala. Los pacientes también recibieron instrucciones para realizar movimiento de sancion para practicar en el hogar, charlas informativas sobre la prevención de la violencia doméstica, y asesoramiento psicólogo si correspondía. ¡Gracias a todos los que participaron!

In collaboration with El Centro de Paz Barbara Ford, Global Healthworks Foundation continued our medical outreach efforts to safely deliver acupuncture and moxibustion treatments, natural herbal remedies, therapeutic massage, and other healthcare services to several hundred patients in the rural Guatemalan communities in the Department of Quiché, Guatemala. Patients also received instructions for at-home body-movement exercises, informational talks about domestic violence prevention, and counseling support, as appropriate. Thanks to all who participated!

For more than 10 years, Gato (Jose Manuel Gomez) supported our GHF team during our medical missions; He was not only the Jefe of our transportation company, rather he was another humanitarian volunteer at the service of those most in need with kindness and compassion. Our heart is saddened, a member of our family is gone. May our dear friend José Gato rest in peace. You will be deeply missed.
