"Loving" a moment in history! On , we celebrate the 1967 Supreme Court decision in Loving v. Virginia that ended all bans on in*******al marriage. Mildred & Richard Loving, arrested for their marriage, fought back with help from the ACLU. The Court ruled that racial restrictions on marriage violated the Equal Protection Clause. Their victory allowed them to return to Virginia, where they lived with their three children.
