That’s a wrap on the 2024 NABTU Trade Women Build Nations conference! LIUNA showed its orange loud and proud with hundreds of women from the US and Canada. Our own LiUNA Eastern Region represented with many members from the Mason Tenders' District Council including Laborers Local 79 - New York City and Laborers Local 78. From General President Brent Booker’s historic maternity leave announcement, to the second line banner parade, workshops and so much more… This conference was one for the history books. Many thanks to all who made it possible!

Still reeling from the excitement of the New York City Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO 2024 Labor Day Parade! The Mason Tenders' District Council of Greater New York & Long Island as well as hundreds of members from Laborers Local 66 - Long Island , Laborers Local 78, Laborers Local 79 - New York City, and LIUNA Local 108 flooded the streets through rain and shine and joined thousands more from all types of trades. All workers. Many voices. One fight... Thanks to all who made it possible. Labor Day is OUR DAY and this was one for the books!
