Breaking News: Gittel’s Law Passed!
We are thrilled to announce the passage of , a groundbreaking bill that aims to protect patients from exploitation by closing a critical loophole in therapist regulations. Spearheaded by and Assemblymember Sam Berger and Zvi Gluck of Amudim, this law ensures justice for survivors of abuse by newly licensed mental health professionals.
A huge thank you to Assemblymember Sam Berger , State Senator Senator Nathalia Fernandez and all our supporters for championing this cause. Now, we urge Governor Gov Kathy Hochuls to sign this bill into law to safeguard our community’s mental health.
