We are so thankful to have been awarded a grant from to help support our mission of creating Affordable Housing and addressing Critical Repairs for low to moderate-income families in Essex, Hudson, and Union Counties. We are expanding our social programs including our Food Pantry in Newark which helps to avert hunger, and our Employment Readiness and Computer lab which helps economically distressed youth access technology and the job market and secure employment. Thanks to donors like Blue Foundry, we can continue to change the lives of our community members and build hope!

On Saturday, July 13th we held our Victimization & Trauma Fair in partnership with University Hospital We appreciate and would like to thank all our vendors who came out despite the rain. We look forward to more partnerships as we continue to serve the residents of our great community.

A huge thanks to the Enterprise Mobility Foundation™ for awarding a grant to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newark as part of the Enterprise Mobility Grants Program. This grant will help support our mission of creating Affordable Housing and addressing Critical Repairs for low to moderate-income families in Essex, Hudson, and Union Counties.

In partnership with University Hospital we will be hosting our Victimization & Trauma Fair this Saturday, July 13th from 10am-2pm. There will be FREE health & blood pressure screenings and FREE haircuts from It’s All About the Seniors and Kids! Can’t wait to see you there!

We are still accepting bids for our BRR Wine Consulting auction item from our 2nd Annual Golf Invitational! The winner and 5 guests will be provided with a Cali Cab tasting, which can be held at a private home or restaurant within New Jersey.

Since our founding, our mission has always been a world where everyone has a decent place to call home. Although, Black individuals and families still face racial discrimination when pursuing their dream of owning a home. We recognize the gap in home ownership between white and Black families in the United States, and it is our responsibility to continue addressing these inequities through our critical work.
