This past weekend our volunteers and director spent the weekend away learning more about grief, patient care, hospice, safety measures and each other. Lots of tears and laughter was had by all!

Everyone in town can participate, and it's easy:
1. Starting at 10 a.m., visit Revive Salon and Spa to get a stocking
2. Then follow our map throughout Newark, visiting local businesses and organizations to collect small treats or giveaways
3. Hit the final stop at Doug Kents Rose Bowl Lanes for a Holiday Sip and Shop with local vendors from 11-3 p.m.

Laurel House is proud to partner with Finger Lakes Ambulance to teach our volunteers and staff CPR. We would never need this for our residents, but it may be useful for visiting family members, other staff and anywhere CPR is needed.

Laurel House offers many benefits to being a volunteer which include CPR classes, volunteer recognition, conferences, more education, friendships and family.
