We use our resources, skills, and expertise to fight for the rights of some of the most discriminated against people in modern day America – returning citizens with criminal records. Our mission is to reduce barriers and maximize opportunities for returning citizens in the Bay Area, throughout California, and beyond. Root & Rebound's Central Valley Reentry Initiative program provides holistic wraparound direct services to formerly incarcerated women, with a focus on women of color in the Central Valley. We assist and empower women and their families as they overcome stigma and barriers to reentry, financial wellness and employment.
