Today celebrates all dogs, mixed breed, and pure. The mission is to help the public recognize the number of dogs that need to be rescued each year and acknowledges family dogs and dogs that work selflessly each day to save lives, keep us safe and bring comfort. We wanted to share our little critters with you, since we get to love on yours everyday 💌🥰

What is National "Mutt" Day? 🐾🐕

There are millions of mixed breed dogs that are in shelters looking for loving homes. Despite the name; they are everything a purebred dog is and while their lineage cannot be 100% traced, their companionship will be forever faithful. Today we aim to encourage others to embrace, celebrate and save mixed bred dogs.

Did you know more than half of dogs in the US are mixed with another breed? ❤

As the Fall and Spring puppies and kittens begin to reach the age where spaying and neutering is a discussion at veterinary visits, we would like to extend a limited time, Facebook exclusive, discount coupon for %15 off the cost of the spay and neuter procedures. 4th of July is just around the corner! Here are some helpful tips to help you and your pet through this holiday! If your pet has a history of having anxiety during the 4th, we recommend you contacting your primary care veterinarian to see about medication to help ease your pets stress! Have a safe holiday! 🐾✨

Good Morning Olympia! With the rising temperatures and paw pad injuries being one of the more difficult injuries to recovery from, we just want to make sure we all take the necessary precautions when it comes to our fur-babies. If its too hot for you to walk on concrete with your shoes off, its too hot for your pet. 🐾☀️

Happy 1st Birthday Capital Pet Urgent Care! One year ago today we opened our doors to the Olympia and surrounding communities. Since then we have been welcomed with open arms by the neighboring veterinarians and pet parents from all over. We want to thank you for a wonderful first year and we are looking forward to many more.

In light of our 1st birthday we will be closing early today at 4pm to celebrate with our staff and doctors.
