Starting August 1st, there will be changes to travel for dogs across the Canadian border. If you are planning on traveling to Canada or returning to the US after August 1st, and are planning on bringing your dog, please make sure to check the new CDC guidelines to ensure that your travel plans go as smoothly as possible.

While can be a fun way for humans to celebrate, the loud noises, flashing lights, and strong smells can cause anxiety for many . Be sure that your pet is in a safe environment, and has an ID tag/microchip in case they manage to slip out of your yard or home.

RECALL ALERT - TDBBS LLC is voluntarily recalling 3,551 bags of Green Tripe dog treats due to the potential presence of foreign metal objects in the dog treat.

Today we were blessed with puppy love! These cuties were a surprise to Wanda's dad when he adopted her...he didn't know she was pregnant and now 9 weeks later, these 10 healthy pups, are ready for new families after their vet checks today. We are working on Spring Cleanup and we hired these great guys to spiffy up the outside of the clinic, they did a great job and are reasonably priced if you want to call them...

Ideally a home where she's the only dog.
Not a chaotic house with a bunch of kids.
Probably someone who's retired or semi retired who'd like an activity partner.
She is jealous of other dogs in a shared household and sees them as competition.
Loves cats.
Loves affection, being brushed, toys she knows are hers and playing ball.
She has not damaged any of our furniture, walls etc.
She is 2 and IS SPAYED. Chipped. On flea meds. Will need boosters next month.
Needs an owner experienced with the breed. *

CFA's Senior Pet Owner program helps pet owners who are 60 years old or older with everything from basic vet care to non-routine medical care to grooming and more. Vouchers can cover up to $300 of applicable vet care for senior owners who qualify.

Here are the details you need to know:

𝐓𝐨 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐲, 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭:
-Be 60 years of age or older
-Be located in Thurston, Mason, Lewis, or Grays Harbor county
-Be utilizing one of our veterinary partners (see participating partners here: https://www.concernforanimals.org/our-veterinary-partners)
-Income restrictions apply and proof of income may be required

𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐨 $𝟑𝟎𝟎 𝐨𝐟:
-Spay & Neuter costs
-Routine wellness (annual visits, vaccines, including flea treatments dispersed at appointment)
-Emergency & non-routine visits (IE: limping, open wounds/sores, broken bones, vomiting, etc., including prescriptions dispensed at appointment)
-Pet quality of life/euthanasia appointments & fees

𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
-Must contact CFA before appointment and be approved for assistance by a team member.
-Must be utilizing one of our veterinary partners.
-Max of 2 pets per household; each pet is entitled to one voucher per calendar year.

It's that time of year again...

Easter and Mother's Day are two of the most dangerous holidays for cats for one reason: lily poisoning. 💐

As a part of our No Lilies for Kitties educational campaign, we're kicking off the series by sharing which species of lilies are toxic to cats. True lilies (Lilium species) and daylilies (Hemerocallis species) are extremely toxic to cats and can potentially cause severe kidney failure.
