Additionally, our grooming department will be closed, since we have no power. If you have an appointment with us at the hospital today and need to cancel, please email us at [email protected] and we will do our best to get back to you. Stay safe.

We at Steamboat Animal Hospital want to insure our clients that we are aware and staying on top of the current canine respiratory disease issue that is in the news. We do not have any further information on what this disease is or even how it is to be treated. We will continue to follow the guidance of the state and federal agencies to keep up to date on any reports. We have had no cases in our clinic but encourage everyone to take every precaution necessary to avoid areas where dogs congregate such as dog parks, boarding facilities etc.. If they must be in this type of setting, please talk with your veterinarian about appropriate additional vaccinations if recommended. If you have any upcoming appointments scheduled and your pet develops a cough of any kind please inform us prior to your arrival and keep your pet in the car.
