It’s officially Orientatation season! Here’s what you need to know about Orientation at DARDEN CENTER this week!
1. Come at the time that you and your Family Engagement Advocate have discussed. This may be on the front of your packet, or you may have been told verbally over the phone or in person.
If you are unsure- hours are 9am-12pm and 2pm-4pm.
2. Orientation will take place in the grassy area outside of the Burton House at 310 Roden court! There will be traffic, so please plan to park in the Burton house parking lot or on one side of Roden Court. Please Do Not block the road!
3. Your children do not have to attend, but if you have to bring them- no problem at all.
4. You will have to complete other paperwork when you arrive, so come expectant to spend about 45 minutes to an hour through the entire process depending on flow.
5. If you have any questions about forms, please ask at the table where you will turn in those forms.
6. Please invite your child’s father to participate in this process. We are re-vamping our fatherhood initiative and would love to have him there!
7. We will have community resources there to share info about their programs. Visit all of the tables, and we will enter you into a prize drawing for something special from our Family Engagement Parent Corner!
Lastly, tag someone you know at the center to spread the word! We will see you this week, Darden!
