Thank you to everyone who came to Covenant Presbyterian Church today for the commissioning of the staff and to hear the message from William F. Furey. Covenant Christian School-Orange CA is grateful for the privilege to be a ministry under Covenant Presbyterian Church. 40 years of educating students for Christ is just the beginning. We are confident that the best is yet to come. As students are able to see that their true value comes from their identity in Christ they will be equipped to make a Kingdom impact.

Please join us this Sunday (09/15/24 @10:15 am) for our annual CCS Staff Commissioning! The church will pray over all of the CCS Staff for an amazing and blessed school year!

Additionally, Mr. Furey is preaching at Covenant Presbyterian Church THIS Sunday! His message is titled “The Best is Yet to Come: Who are we in Christ?”. If you have heard Mr. Furey preach in the past, you know it will be a GREAT message that will impact us all! If you haven’t now is your opportunity – you won’t want to miss it!

Please allow time for your student to either be walked in or dropped off in carline so they’re in their line by 8 AM. We’re looking forward to another fantastic day of learning and growth. Day 2 of in-service at Covenant Christian School is in the books! Today, our dedicated staff worked together to update all the first aid kits and ensure that our team is fully prepared for any situation. We're proud to share that every staff member at CCS is certified in CPR and First Aid. Those who needed recertification spent the morning in a hands-on class with our very own Mr. Furey, a registered Red Cross trainer.

The rest of the day was spent back in the classrooms, making sure everything is ready to welcome our students back. Excitement is building, and we know this year will be amazing—the best is yet to come!

The Covenant Christian School teachers are back in action! Today marked the first day of in-service as we gear up for an exciting new school year. This week is filled with training, planning, and preparation to ensure we're ready to welcome our students back with open arms. Tomorrow, our team will dive into CPR and First Aid training along with classroom prep and lesson planning tomorrow and up until school starts.

The office staff is also busy putting the final touches on everything they do to keep our school running smoothly. We can't wait to see what God has in store for this campus in the year ahead. Stay tuned—the best is yet to come!

Our CCS families came together to enjoy a delicious family-style meal, meet our dedicated staff, and connect with our amazing teachers. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about our athletics programs, overnight education camps, PTL opportunities, and more!

We are also able to celebrate in person that for the fourth year in a row, Covenant Christian School has been awarded the title of Best Faith-Based School in Orange County! 🎉

🌞💦 We had an absolute blast at our annual Water Day! With waterslides, hotdogs, cotton candy, basketball, and the fantastic help of our parent volunteers, it was a day to remember. It was great to see our alumni join in the fun too!

The grand finale? Our kids got to slime Principal Mr. Furey to close out the day! 😆 Thank you to everyone who made this day so special. We wish you all a fantastic summer! ☀️🏖️

The 8th-grade class from Covenant Christian School had an unforgettable outdoor education experience with ! Their adventure bega, with a flight from LAX to Washington, D.C., where they toured the White House, World War I Memorial, and National Archives. The students explored Gettysburg, viewed the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and visited the Smithsonian museums.

The journey continued with a visit to Mount Vernon, Arlington National Cemetery, and historic Philadelphia, including the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. They then traveled to Amish Country for a unique cultural experience and enjoyed a spectacular Sight & Sound Theatre performance.

In New York City, the students toured iconic sites like the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the 9/11 Memorial, and Times Square. They even saw the Broadway show Wicked!

Throughout the trip, students gained knowledge and built strong relationships with each other and their parents. A whirlwind of learning and fun, this trip brought history to life for the students.

Mark your calendars for this amazing camp - October 21-24. We will dive into the wonders of marine biology and witness the magic of the world-famous Monterey Bay Aquarium! Don’t miss it! This camp promises to be an enriching and exciting journey for all participants!

As we reflect on the incredible accomplishments of our students, we invite all student-athletes to attend the banquet at no charge as a token of appreciation for their commitment and passion.
