How important is feedback to you during supervision?
The PBS Ethics Committee reminds us that feedback should be bi-directional. Supervisors can promote feedback from their supervises by fostering an environment grounded in psychological safety.
Stay tuned all summer long as we continue to provide supervision tips for both supervisors AND supervisees!

Today, we join in celebrating Juneteenth, a significant day in American history.
Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, marks the anniversary of June 19th, 1865 when the last enslaved African-Americans in Galveston, Texas, were informed of their freedom, two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation. This day reminds us of the resilience, culture, and contributions of African-Americans throughout history.
At Team PBS, we honor and support our African-American colleagues, recognizing the importance of diversity and inclusion in everything we do. Let's take this opportunity to learn, reflect, and continue advocating for equality and justice today and every day.

As we close Behavior Therapist Appreciation Month, we wanted to spotlight incredible RBTs across PBS Virginia & PBS Space Coast!
1. Aminata in PBS Virginia always sought knowledge and tools to improve her skills as an RBT. She truly cares about her clients and the families she serves. She is making such a big impact every day.
2. Natasha is an outstanding RBT with the Space Coast team! Not only does she consistently go above and beyond for her clients, she goes out of her way to make those important, positive connections within the community. Natasha is a bright, outgoing individual who does what she can to provide the best care possible to the families we serve.
3. Blanka has made my transition to Virginia wonderful. Her knowledge of her client is amazing and she has helped greatly with the development of new goals. Blanka is an amazing communicator and is highly dedicated! Thanks for everything Blanka! Keep up the great work
We appreciate ALL of our amazing RBTs across our PBS regions! Thank you for all you do for the families we serve! You are appreciated!
Did you know that mental health plays a role in ethical service delivery?
As Mental Health Awareness Month draws to a close, sometimes it’s hard to remember that our own mental health plays a role in ethical service delivery.
Doing our best to redirect any internal stressors can help us fully focus on the session we are in along with overall client outcomes. We can accept that life sometimes involves stress, and that we can be present in the moment with our clients.
How can you take care of your mental health?
Summer is around the corner, and so is Team PBS!
