It is life's unexpected changes that cause us to fall off track with our fitness plan. I think most people would answer by saying family and career.
It doesn't matter if it is a good change, a bad change, a big change, or a small change; when changes happen we must pivot from plan A to keep fitness a priority. If I asked you what are your top priorities in life, how would you answer? Everyone sees health and fitness as something that is important, but we always seem to put it off until later. We all have obstacles in our lives that we use as e

How Does Fitness Fit Right Now?
🤔🏃♀️🤔🏋♂️
Over the last 20 years in personal training, I have helped a lot of people, of all different ages and fitness levels, reach lots of different goals.
🚴♂️❤️🚴
I believe my strength and passion is in helping people re-establish how fitness fits in their life after a life change disrupts their routines. It’s the inevitable changes we go through in life that cause us to put fitness off to the side. It is normal to find yourself in a time of your life where you feel like you have no time for fitness, and it becomes something you plan to get to later.
💯💪💯
As life changes, the way fitness fits in our life has to change along with it. When you are in your early 20’s, it is likely that you have time to workout for 2 hours a day 5 days a week if you want to. However, once you are in your late 30’s or older, you most likely don’t have near the time or the energy to spend on fitness. Your life is just different now. You may have a job with much more responsibilities, you may be married with kids, there are just many more things that demand your energy and time than earlier in your life. The amount of time we have available to dedicate towards our fitness plan changes throughout our life.
🙃🙃🙃
It is when we try to approach our fitness plan like we used to, instead of how it fits in the present, that we struggle to find time for it at all. I help people figure out how it fits in the life they are living right now.
Would you like help figuring out how fitness fits in your life?

Does Fitness Fit Your Life? Does Fitness Fit Your Life? By Chad Austin If someone were to ask you, what are your top priorities in life? What would you say? I did extensive research on this question about 10 years ago, I crea
If you're a man who is a former athlete, and now busy professional, who feels like you are constantly struggling to lose that last 20 lbs to reclaim your glory day athletic body...trust me I feel you.
Because that is the fight I was in for years.
But since I started using my 4-step G.A.I.N Formula, I have been able to maintain the fitness level I desire that makes me the most confident about myself. Most importantly, I've been able to do this without having to sacrifice any priceless family time.
I'm looking for 5 men who would be willing to help me in making my new program, so we can help more guys reclaim the body, and confidence, they had when they were athletes. This won't take more that 5 minutes, and just for completing this short survey, I'll give you a $10 starbucks gift card.
If you are interested and would be willing, just comment YES or send me a DM.
Unpopular Opinion: It's ok to give up.
Let me clarify my stance on this a bit. I'm not saying it's ok to give up on reaching your goals. I would never let a client or myself do that. It is ok to give up on what's not working.
Sometimes in order to find success you just have to give up on what's not working. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. We tend to fear change, so making changes is hard. If something worked for us in the past, no matter how long ago that was, we have a tough time abandoning it.
What worked for you in the past may not work for you at all now, because your life is different. Always remember that what you do for fitness has to fit in your life. If you are having a tough time staying consistent and getting results, it may just be time for some changes.
Don't give up on reaching your goals...Give up on the game plan that isn't working.
Last weekend I was able to attend my first Unleash the Power Within event. It was an incredible event designed to help attendees overcome their biggest limiting beliefs that hold them back in life. If you ever get the chance to attend one of these I highly recommend it.

Find The Solution!
😎🤔
In order to make fitness a long term priority, you will have to be a problem solver at times. There will be curveballs, unexpected obstacles, and adversity that you will have to overcome regularly in life.
⚾🚧❌
You have to learn to how to throw plan A out the window and create plan B on the fly sometimes. It will be challenging, but with practice you can get very good at it.
Every Problem has a solution. Always find it and not the excuse.
I have a t-shirt that has the simple message on the front, "Stop Stopping Yourself!"
😎🏋️
We have heard phrases like this before, but I know it is great advice for me regularly when it comes to Making Fitness A Priority.
💥💥
How often do we sabotage our own success with our own actions? The good news is that once we realize that we are in fact the problem, that is preventing us from reaching our goals, we can realize that we are also the solution!
🔜💪
Don't shame yourself, or beat yourself up about the past. Just come back with a new plan to start winning!

It's simple...If you don't think you can reach your goals then you wont.
🙄⛔
If the story you are telling yourself when you start something challenging is that you can't do it, then you are setting yourself up to fail.
💥💣
You have to change that story. Because it's a fictional story.
💥💯
Just because you couldn't do something in the past, doesn't mean you can't in the future. The past doesn't have to predict the future. Your success begins when you begin believing in yourself!
Apollo is absolutely right! You get it back by going back to the beginning!
💯💥💯
Do you ever feel like you are losing your fight to Make Fitness A Permanent part of your life? Don't beat yourself up about it, because we all go through this from time to time.
😐🙄🙃
Sometimes I feel like I am in such a great workout zone that I am actually making myself younger. Other times during the year I can't seem to find enough motivation to even do a half ass workout.
❌🤬
When you lack motivation how do you get the eye of the tiger back? Like Apollo said, "You go back to the beginning." You go back to your Why!
Why did you get started?
Why is this important to you?
Why will doing this improve your quality of life?
🐅😎🐅
Dig Deep on these questions, because your eye of the tiger energy is found in the answers.
How do you manage an ever changing environment?
🤔💥
Have A Plan!
💯💯
Jess just shared part 3 of her blog: New Normal Or Next Normal. Read her new blog with great tips here: https://aspyrewealth.com/have-a-plan/
Having a plan can create a sense of normal even if the plan itself has to change.
It is easy to use bad weather as an excuse to not be active.
🌧️❄️🌨️
Most dogs would probably be fine staying inside and laying down by the fire. Not Walter. That's just not how he's wired. Doesn't matter if there is rain, sleet, or snow...Nothing stops him from getting his workout in.
☔🐕
On the really cold days he even lifts his head a little higher as we walk through the neighborhood. It's as if he wants all the other dogs barking at him from inside their owners warm house to know that he is a BAMF.
😎💪🏻
Don't let weather justify being less active. Put a coat on and lift your head high knowing you didn't let an obstacle stop you today!
There are many life lessons we can learn from playing video games. When I was a kid I loved playing Super Mario Brothers. When I look Back now as a grown up I can appreciate all of the lessons it provides.
🎮🤟
Lessons like:
✔️No matter how good you are, you will still make mistakes.
✔️To win the game you must rescue the princess, which keeps the focus on the finish line, and on trial and error.
✔️You have to learn from your mistakes to keep leveling up.
Maybe the biggest lesson to take away is that you can't win the game without first learning from your mistakes.
Sometimes we need a reminder of these lessons we once learned.
How much accountability do you need right now? This is an important question to ask yourself whenever you are restarting your workout routine.
💯🤔
Every time you ask this question your answer may be different. That's ok. Our motivation to workout will fluctuate over time. It is important to be honest with yourself, so you can give yourself the right amount of accountability to be successful.
🐕😎
Walter loves going to the studio, and can be a great accountability buddy. Who keeps you accountable?
