What an amazing 3-2 playoff run for our 14U All Stars! They were the only team to play five games in a row with no days off. While they didn’t win the championship, they should be proud of how they played and represented Pacifica. They’re all heading to high school in the fall, but will always have memories of playing together over the years. ⚾️

PNLL has the honor of hosting this year's Little League District 52 10U All-Star Tournament, which is a very special opportunity for PNLL and Pacifica!! The tournament runs 6/24 through 7/4 and we desperately need our community to rally together to help make sure the Tournament runs as smoothly as possible.

Please consider signing up for a Snack Shack shift and lend a hand- it takes a village!

Dear Pacifica Juniors Families,

We would like to hold a brief Opening Day ceremony tomorrow (April 16) in between games at approximately 12:45pm. Players and coaches will be introduced and the National Anthem will play. There will be a group photo with all four teams after.

The Pacifica American and National Little League are excited to begin the 2023 Juniors season!

We will be having tryouts on Saturday, January 28th from 12noon to 3:00pm at Cooper Field, located on the Terra Nova High School campus.

Check in will be at the entrance off Everglades.

We will be splitting tryouts into two groups by last name.

Group 1 : Players with the last name beginning with A-J
This group's tryout will be from 12noon to 1:30pm. Please arrive 15 minutes before for check in and warm ups.

Group 2 : Players with the last name beginning with K-Z
This group's tryout will be from 1:30pm to 3:00pm. Please arrive 15 minutes before for check in and warm ups.

Don't forget to register before January 20th!

Junior Division Registration Now OPEN!

Thank you for your patience as we navigate the transition from Pacifica Pony League Baseball to the Juniors Division of Little League District 52. We are pleased to announce that registration is now OPEN! Please visit www.pnllbaseball.com or https://www.pallball.org/ to register your player.

Below we provide additional information about the upcoming season.

Little League Juniors Division:

The Juniors Division is primarily for players whose League Age is 13 or 14. Similar to Pony League, games are played on a larger field with a 54-foot pitching distance and 80-foot base paths. Juniors Division follows traditional baseball rules, including lead-offs, unlimited steals, pick-offs and balks, and batters may use full sized (big barrel) bats. Teams play against other leagues in District 52, which runs from Palo Alto to Pacifica. In general, there will be 2 games and 2 practices per week. Scores and standing are kept, and all teams participate in a year-end tournament. Team placement is dependent upon tryouts and a draft with the goal of placing everyone who signs up. For selected players, District 52 hosts 13u and 14u All-Star tournaments in June, both of which culminate in an International Little League World Series.

Upcoming dates:

*Field Maintenance Day at Terra Nova's Cooper Field on January 22, 2023

*Tryouts on January 28, 2023

We expect to draft teams and begin practices in February, with games beginning in March.

Volunteerism:

We hope to make this seamless transition, and as such we will continue to require your participation in field maintenance, snack shack, and other duties.

Beach cleanup today at Lindamar Beach. SIGN in as Pacifica Youth Baseball 8-10, only need to attend for 1 hour!

It’s almost baseball season! ⚾️

Great day at the field on Saturday! We had a good turnout and got a lot done. Thank you for everyone who came to help. We will have one more cleanup day, either the last weekend of March or the first week of April. Please try to carve out time to make the next field cleanup. We will have lumber to replace some of the boards on bleachers and boundary to the field. Thanks again and see you all on the field or around town!
