Today Pacifica Moose Lodge had the honor of hosting Golden Spot 15 Moose Legion Conferral. Welcome to our three newest Moose Legionnaires and thank you to the ritual team for performing the ceremony. Those in attendance also enjoyed our Pancake/French Toast breakfast.

Congratulations! 🎉🎊🎉 to Hiram Cooke he become our newest "Pilgrim". The ceremony was yesterday at the Monterey Moose Lodge. Hiram has been a dedicated member in the Moose Fraternity for 2 decades and went through all the chairs to earn the "Pilgrim Degree of Merit". The first for a Monterey Moose Lodge member in 27 years. It is the highest honor a member in the Moose Legion can receive. Hiram is a member of the Monterey Moose Lodge which is one of the 5 lodges in District 10. 🎊 Congratulations! 🎊Hiram on an outstanding job, the recognition is well deserved. Pacifica Moose Lodge 1944 and the Golden Spot #15 Moose Legion are very proud of all you do, have done and what's to come.

Tonight we honored two amazing young ladies, Shannon Hagemann & Izzy Cota, who have grown up in the Moose, their families frequent the lodge often and have set a great foundation for them. Shannon & Izzy recently graduated from high school, excelling in academics & athletics. Pacifica Moose Lodge presented both girls with scholarships to help continue their educations and certificates of recognition for their dedication and hard work as servers during our weekly family dinner nights and special events. Both girls have become valuable members of our volunteer crew and our Moose Family. Congratulations! on all your achievements so far, continue to work hard toward your goals and success will follow you thru life. Your Pacifica Moose family is extremely proud of both of you.

It's that time again!!!

What a day! Turn out for Father's Day was amazing. The lodge was packed with Dads & families young & old. San Jose Moose Lodge 401 and Hayward/Castro Valley 1491 were in attendance. Food, music, family, games and fun were enjoyed by all. Justin Cottrell & crew not only competed in all games: Moose Races, Shut the Box, darts and Co****le, they also out laughed everyone truly enjoying the day.
Thank you to all who spent the day with us and the volunteers that made it happen.

🎲🎲🎲BUNCO 🎲🎲🎲 game night tomorrow Saturday, June 15. Event is open to all members & qualified guests. There will be a potluck meal so bring your specialty or favorite dish to share.

Reminder to all members.... You must show your membership card every time you enter the Lodge. The bartenders are protecting our lodge *private club* liquor license and our tax free status when they ask you to show your card. So please be kind and don't give them a hard time. They really shouldn't even have to ask. Please have it out and ready.

ALL MOOSE MEMBERS SHOULD KNOW THIS

Did you KNOW??? The rules for access to the Moose Lodge are NOT regulated by the Lodge or Moose International.
The Moose Lodge is a "PRIVATE ORGANIZATION" and therefore regulated by the Internal Revenue Service. The IRS say's only MEMBERS can make purchases. Guests are only allowed to visit 2 times and the third visit they MUST sign up. Members MUST have a membership card or the app on their person. This is why our bartenders or officers on duty ask to see your card. It's their job.
ALL private organizations are under the same rules, Elks, American Legion, Lions Club, VFW etc. Some organization's may not enforce the IRS rules and could be in jeopardy of losing their tax free status and their Private Club liquor license. Our Moose Lodge does NOT want this to happen, so let's keep the IRS happy, happy, happy... and please let's be PROUD TO SHOW YOUR MOOSE CARD...
