We celebrated our daughters 11th birthday this weekend at Meow Wolf’s Omegamart in Vegas! We thought it was a strange request, but this kid knows what she wants! I am so proud of her, fierce, curious, adventurous, fearless and strong. She’s not afraid to be bold and strange and I love that about her. I am so grateful for experiences with her and seeing the world through her eyes! Happy birthday firecracker🧨

Thinking back to a few weeks ago when I spent the day with some of LA’s most hilarious comedians! The gig was easy because I got to play myself. The role of “Realtor in LA” is a pretty easy one for me, no formal acting classes were required! If you havent had the chance to check out with John Mulaney on definitely check out his comedic love story about our city! I’m in the first episode, Coyotes!

I had the most “only in LA” day yesterday! It involved my own trailer, hanging out with a ton of really funny people, and a day in May that may or may not mean tons of clips from Netflix!!! I moved here, hoping for this day only to land a career in real estate which is a perfect fit… only to boomerang back 23 years later and have the experience ( as a realtor) I love this city!

It’s funny how people think this job is a cakewalk. It’s more than popping a sign in a yard and hoping it flies. Realtors wear a thousand hats - Marketing director, publicist, therapist, housekeeper, designer, bookkeeper, consultant, advisor, driver, assistant, appraiser, CEO - And that’s just a few of the hats we wear at work.

It is an always-on, around the clock gig. Can only meet at 8pm for paperwork? Sure. Need me to pop by at 7am because that’s your only avail? I’ve got you. I wear these hats with pride. From the most menial swiffer job to the most glamorous days of showing multi million dollar homes, I love them all.

The past year has been a grind, the market has been tumultuous to say the least. Law suits, low inventory, high rates, but people still need to plant roots and move on to the next phase of their lives. I am here for all of it. I didn’t think I’d make this list this year, but wore the hats anyway. Thank you to my clients who affirm every day that what realtors do is still valued, still important and appreciated. These clients found us online. They were living in NY but were the caretakers for a sweet woman in LA. Unfortunately, the seller’s dementia called for more care and they needed someone to sell the home in a streamlined and efficient way to pay for her future care. The home was in disrepair and needed to be cleaned up and marketed to a buyer willing to roll up their sleeves. We found the perfect buyer in under 10 days! 💕

Some listings aren't as cut and dry as you would think. Each property comes with its own challenges. We didn't think being across from a beautiful elementary school would be an issue, and we didn't expect the rates would continue to climb, but both were hurdles we had to overcome.

Even though some things are unexpected, our sellers can expect a few things from us - One being our dedication to getting the job done. These days, sales dont always happen in the first week, or the first buyer doesn't always stick. In those cases, that is where the rubber meets the road! Sellers need an agent that will dust off, roll up their sleeves, get back in the ring and find solutions.

After two false starts, we were able to source amazing buyers for this one brought to us by a fellow Compass colleague! Once we were in the groove, four days prior to closing, the buyer's lender dropped the ball and we almost had to get into the ring again. However, we have phenomenal loan partners we have depended on for years and ran the scenario by . He was able to breathe life back into the transaction and get it to the finish line 6 days post (almost) disaster.

The sellers have sold their beautiful Frogtown home (over asking!) and the buyers have a new place to begin their life 🏡 Real estate isn't always easy, but we LIVE for a challenge!

I got to escape the heat in this Mar Vista beauty for a few hours while the inspectors did a deep dive. Not only is she gorgeous , she’s in pretty good shape too! I’m so excited for our buyers💕

We love a beautiful transaction! We met these sellers a few months before we brought this one to market. At our appointment, we discussed changes that could be made to the property that would garner more interest. The sellers were game! Especially after they caught wind of (a program that we offer that allows for improvements to be made with no up-front cost).

The sellers took in all of my suggestions and even added a few of their own. Our collaboration helped to restore this amazing Craftsman on a street to street lot. With two bonus homes on the lot to boot! In two weeks' time, we had multiple offers and landed on the sweetest buyers, represented by a great team and Gaia!

In the end, it was a win for all. A great home with income to offset the buyers' mortgage and a sale that exceeded our sellers’ expectations!
