Peace Sisters
Peace Sisters helps girls empower themselves through reliable access to education in Togo, West Afri
Peace Sisters was founded by Tina Kampor, a Togolese American woman. Since moving to California in 2003, Tina has worked extremely hard to learn English and pursue a career in nursing. All the while she has been sending money back home to Togo in order to help support disadvantaged girls who would have otherwise dropped out of school. Over the years, the number of students she supports has grown to over 470 girls. Peace Sisters was formally recognized as a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization in 2016.
If you'll be in the LA area on November 17, then please join Founder Tina Kampor & Ambassador Kathleen Hanna for our Annual Gala!
