Okay, per MyRacePass I finished 5th!! I thought jt was 6th, guess my brother miscounted but I’m even happier than I was yesterday!
Next race is the 9th!

P6 NO STRIPE
Kart was awesome, powered through some clutch issues and kept the dog in the fight. Gonna get a new clutch and next thing you know I’ll be cracking into the top 5! I’m wore out, my arms are shot and I’m way too pumped up. Race one done!

Winter update!
It’s almost that time again, only a week til the first race at Adobe Mountain Speedway! The open kart is pretty much ready to go, just got some nitpicking to do but that’s all easy stuff. The stock kart is up in the air, it all depends on what Mark wants to do. It’s been busy at the house recently, so he might not want to race this weekend. I, however, have been DYING to get back on track, so much so that I’ve been having dreams about racing… yeah. That’s how you know withdrawals are hitting too hard. Looking forward to getting back on track and having fun! Thanks again to my awesome partners for making this possible:

Getting ready for the start of our 2024 season. The #27 open kart will see every race at Adobe Mountain Speedway, barring anything earth-shattering. We will also see the yet-to-be-numbered stock kart running part-time this year with Mark behind the wheel. Still have a little bit to do, just some small stuff, but we will be ready for the first race of the year. Looking forward to getting this season underway!

Damn damn damn. Had a good run going, was in the transfer spot, then I spun off 2. Probably the best I’ve run in this kart so far. Kart was fast, just didn’t do it justice all night. Thanks to everyone who showed up and helped out, I appreciate it a bunch. Not sure what’s next, probably Adobe but we’ll see.

Spit the chain, bound the clutch, got humbled in the heat, ran pretty good until then. Starting P2 of 13 in the B, taking 4. Gonna be a tough field, hoping I can put this thing in the big show!

Starting P3 in heat 2, hopefully I can get out of my own head and put this thing in the feature without running the B. Track is super tough, but that’s what it’s all about!

Drew a 12 in pull draw. Kart sounds good, looks good, I feel good, I’m ready to get this night started! Let’s get it!

I gave her hell and she gave it right back.
Started 7th, got up into the top 5 and stayed there for quite a bit, maybe half the race. Felt the clutch start slipping at the end of the race and started to fall back. Eventually I could feel my hip starting to burn and decided to park it for the night. Definitely drive better than I finished, but the most important thing is I had the most fun I’ve ever had racing. It was a tricky track but it felt really fast. I can’t thank everyone enough that helped me out today:

Went 5th to 4th in the heat, kart is bad fast. Starting P7 in the main, looking for consistency and learning experiences. Haven’t had this much fun in YEARS

Update: fall is here, and in Arizona that means racing is back! Our first race back is scheduled to be October 7th at Adobe Mountain Speedway, then a week off, then we’re favoring on hitting the 21st. But I know for a fact we will be at the Arizona State Fair on the 26th for one of the most fun races of the year! It’s been a hot minute, I’m ready to shake the rust off and go have some fun!
Unrelated: Max has been promoted to lead aero mechanic. As you can see, she’s putting in the hours

Finally got my new PMI motor mount! Looking forward to getting this thing set up, hopefully no more under-the-chassis chicanery!

We’re waiting on a new motor mount for the open kart, should be here within the week. Once we get that it’s full steam ahead to the second half of the season!

Open kart threw the chain in hot laps and discovered the motor mount is super twisted. Done for the night.
Stock kart, started 3rd finished 4th and will be going to the B. Really liking the new track config so far!

We’re here! Pulled an 18 in both open and stock. Only complaint is the heat 🥵🥵🥵 where’s Moss Air Conditioning & Heating LLC when ya need him?!
