Today we ran our first round of heat races. Overall we did pretty well. Track is fun and really fast, also it changes quite a bit so we were off a little bit on the cars.

We managed a 1st in modified from 4th car was loose but manageable

I wheeled the late model from 2nd all the way up to a solid 4th haha it also was very loose and not so manageable

Sprint car started 4th finished 4th track locked down and we were tight and missing something speed wise.

Overall a really solid first race day here at the RC Chili Bowl

Seeding day here at the 2024 rc chili bowl. Thank god pops and I sat at the house and drank a few beers and threw some ideas on these cars to make them faster than practice yesterday!

Midwest modified we qualified 38th out of 82 cars

Late model we qualified 21st out of 122 cars

Outlaw sprint we managed a 30th out of 113 cars

Tomorrow starts heat races for all 3 classes!

A little late but we still wanted to share

We raced Dunns arena last weekend and had a blast. The track was re worked and was very fun to drive. Friday was practice for the featured classes and a normal night for the other classes. Practice went well thanks to Guy Norton Racing racing for the help tuning!

Saturday was race day and we were pretty fast all night. The groove was a little tight but was still a fun race night.

First time attending the figure 8 night at M&M Mile RC Oval Track, a lot of fun! Lighter night for the late models so we were only able to get some great practice runs in.

Happy Veterans Day, thank you so much to everyone that has served our country! We will be racing M&M mile tonight make sure you check back to see how we do!

This is so true. Can’t wait to make many more memories this year at the different tracks!

2nd and final night of the AZ RC fiesta bowl was awesome. All 3 cars were bad fast on AKA Vipers, DE racing wheels, Futaba electronics, hobby wing USA power plants, protek batteries and servos, and Customworks Chassis. Modified and Late Model sport the Sippel speed shop bodies. Sprintcar runs the Customworks body and Bucher braces.

Overall qualified 2nd in late model ended up 3rd (driver stepped on it more than once lol)with a fast lap of 4.05. That’s the fastest we’ve been around M&M mile.

Qualified pole for the modified and ended up winning that main event. Hit a fast lap of 4.23.

Qualified 2nd in outlaw sprint and finished 2nd. This sprint field was stacked and we are very happy with the result. We hit a lap of 4.16.

Needless to say M&M Mile RC Oval Track was unbelievably fast. Great work Mike Malmgren and crew to make this fiesta bowl the biggest and fastest one yet!

Dirt Tracking Tuesday

This week is Flora Vista RC Speedway

Flora Vista is our first out of state track we visited this year. Located right outside of Farmington New Mexico, this track is awesome and so fun to run. It starts out a little slick but as they prep it throughout the night it grips up pretty good.

This track is unique in the clay used for the surface. It’s gray in color and can get very sticky making this place extremely fast and fun to race on. Almost no tire wear either until it really grooves up.

The group in New Mexico have some very talented drivers and are all extremely nice and welcoming to anyone that races there. I know their season just ended but when they open back up this is a 10/10 place to visit!
