Summer season reminder

Due to ongoing issues with the Foothills pool heater, practices for tonight will be rescheduled to a non-scheduled practice day in April or May. We will communicate the make-up practice day once we have an updated schedule approved.

There is still a possibility we run practices Wednesday. An update will be sent out once available.

We have a few updates today regarding the pools and upcoming meet schedule.

We were notified shortly before practices yesterday that the maintenance team has decided to extend the closure of the Foothills pool and complete annual maintenance during this time. Yearly we move to the Mountain Vista club during annual maintenance.

The Foothills pool is expected to re-open 2/19 baring any delays. Which puts us at the MVC pool for another week.

Along with this update, we will again have to reschedule our upcoming session #1 meet.

We tentatively will reschedule our session #1 meet for 2/24 baring any other delays.

Session #1 meet update:

We just heard from the maintenance team that unfortunately, the Foothills pool heater is not up and running yet.

With that, we will reschedule our Session #1 intersquad meet from 2/3 to 2/10. The maintenance team is hopeful it will be running in the coming days.

Please look for an email on Saturday or Sunday confirming practice location for next week.

Additionally, for families that have recurring lessons with Coach Taylor, these will be canceled again for this week and weekend.

Thank you all for your patience these past few weeks. We look forward to be back at our home pool soon.

We just received notification from the maintenance team that they have decided to shut down the pool heater (as of this morning) due to needed additional repairs.

Because of this, we have to cancel practices this afternoon.

We will take this day by day at this point and send out any updates we are given as to when the heater will be operable.

A huge congratulations to our former swimmer who recently committed to The University of Cincinnati with a scholarship to swim! Ellie started her swim journey with the Vipers where she developed a love for the sport. After moving to Alabama she found a terrific club team that helped bring out her full potential. We are so excited for you Ellie and wish you the best at Cincinnati!

Fall league finale at Rio is this coming Saturday, October 28th. This is our last meet at Rio this fall season and highly recommend attending! These meets are great for our kids.
