What a Labor Day ride we had! Whoo hoo...Awesome. The first half- hour I kicked things off w/a theme that had everything to do with Work! Next half-hour was with Ciara w/a theme that had everything to do w/the end of Summer.

Regular exercise seems to offer protection against COVID-19โnot only from catching the illness, but also from developing serious disease.
The protection gleaned from exercise likely, at least in part, comes fromย exercise's abilityย to improveย immune functionโessentially helping the body produce a more robust antibody response andย clear viruses faster.
There is no one size fits all answer for exercisingโthe goal is to find ways to move more and sit less. Choose an activity that you enjoy and that you will stick with.
This can be done as part of your work or daily commute and also through dance, play, and everyday household tasks such as gardening and cleaning. If possible, you should aim to incorporateย muscle-strengthening activities, high-intensity exercises and resistance trainingย into your workouts to hit all of the muscle groups, he added.
The biggest takeaway is that even a little bit of exercise can go a long way. The greatest risk reduction occurred when people who typically didn't exercise added some type of physical activity into their routine.

This is Beginner's Spinning. 6:30pm on Mondays. Good for the quads and the butt and hamstrings. You must have resistance on to make this work! Peddling to the beat makes the work tolerable!

Jumps Jumps Jumps! How to do them. In position 2. Engage your core. Distribute your weight evenly over the bike and the seat. Simply stand up and sit down. Don't plunk down on your seat.

Ciara's "Power Climb" is not easy! She pushes you in this "beginners" class! Dig deep...Let her push you! Your legs are strong...stronger than you think! Your glutes are the biggest muscle in the body. Use them! Then your hamstrings and quads. Mondays 6:30pm 2499 N. 50th Street Philly
All your focus on a seated climb! One, two, one two, one two! Look at this...this is Spinning! It's all in the legs. Very little shoulder movement, very little arm movement. The core moves naturally with the body. It's harder than it looks.
