EMOJI HUNT: 5 clothing items have gone missing, and we need your help finding each of them! 🕵️♀️
Can you help us find the following items? Two t-shirts, a pair of jeans, one pair of shoes, and a backpack.
Let's work together to find these sneaky clothing items and get them ready to make a child's day. Feel free to drop a comment and let us know if you find them all! Let the EMOJI HUNT begin!!
Many thanks to our supporter, AbbVie, for joining us last month to support our local children! With their help, we can ensure that children have clean and accessible clothing to thrive every day. Thank you, AbbVie, for your continued support!
🚨 Our Wish List is stocked with socks and underwear! Let's keep all ages comfy and cool this summer. We want every child to feel comfy and confident, but low inventory is making it tough to provide these essentials. Clothing Insecurity affects many families in our community, making it difficult for children to have access to basic items.

It's Disability Pride Month! We are answering the question, "What is Disability Inclusion?"
Including people with disabilities in everyday activities and encouraging them to have roles similar to their peers who do not have a disability is disability inclusion. It's not just about encouragement—it's about ensuring policies and practices foster true inclusion. This leads to increased participation in socially expected roles, like being a student, worker, friend, community member, patient, spouse, partner, or parent.
Inclusion allows everyone to engage in social activities, use public resources, move freely within communities, receive adequate healthcare, build relationships, and enjoy everyday life. That's why Cradles to Crayons believes that everyone deserves to grow up in an accessible society and proud to be their whole, authentic selves.
This month, we encourage our supporters to learn more about how you can be an ally and take action this month: https://hubs.li/Q02Chr9h0.

How Our Mission Was Born
The Cradles to Crayons story began in a bedroom drawer. While founder Lynn Margherio was helping her young niece get dressed, she noticed many pieces of clothing were outgrown. Others were never worn, with price tags still on them.
Lynn thought: “What if these like-new and never-used things could find their way to children who really need them?”
Less than two years later in 2002, Lynn launched Cradles to Crayons in Boston. Since our inception, we’ve grown in Massachusetts and beyond: Philadelphia in 2006, Chicago in 2016, and two more sites in the planning stages.
Through it all, our mission remains clear: to provide children from birth through age 12 with the everyday essentials they need to thrive — at home, at school, and at play. Our overarching vision — a future free of childhood poverty — inspires our work every day.
