We're thrilled to share that Opera Philadelphia is a 2024 International Opera Awards finalist in two categories: World Premiere, for Rene Orth and Hannah Moscovitch's 10 DAYS IN A MADHOUSE, and Opera Company of the Year.
Winners will be announced at the The International Opera Awards ceremony on Oct 2 in Munich.
Commissioned by Opera Philadelphia and Tapestry Opera, Rene Orth - Composer and Hannah Moscovitch's 10 DAYS IN A MADHOUSE had its world premiere at Opera Philadelphia as part of Festival O23 last September at The Wilma Theater.
