We are always looking for the right person first at Developmental Fitness!!

We seek personal trainers with Certification OR degree OR licensure. A degree is preferred but the right person is always the most preferable.

We work 1:1 with those with devleopmental and intellectual disabilites in 18 counties across Pennsylvania and we are expanding into all counties in Pennsylvania as far at Pittsburgh. Wilkes Barre, State College, Erie and everywhere in between. Currently we have many clients in southeast corner of the state from Philadelphia to Mechanicsburg and from Chester north to Stroudsburg.

We are looking for staff to provide health outcomes through fitness either at home or at the gym where they are a member on in the community.

Many of our clients are also looking for Community Participation support services where people bring them out into the community to increase skills, particpate recreationally and navigate their skills/interests as well.

All of our trainers are independent contractors regualted as a support staff at 32 dollars per hours. Our clients are usually approved for our services anywhere from 3 to 6 hours per week (some considerably more. (We have somethat are 20 to 35 hrs a week even)

We connect clients in certain referred areas with trainers and support staff from the same area that the clients are referred. Trainers/Staff can make their own schedule based on their and client availability. Joining our network is free. You dont need any clearances until we actually connect you with a client. We are all people helping people. We find good people that can provide our guys good service.

The North Penn YMCA would like your help. We are looking for the first 8 to 10 individuals interested in assisting in participating in a free day of video sport training in baseball, soccer, frisbee golf and hockey in our new Virtual Sport Simulators.

We would like to formulate a program for those with developmental disabilities utilizing our new video simulators for sports training. Having utilized the simulators myself, this method of practice can increase motor planning, motor skills, coordination, gauge for sports skills and hand eye coordination while training in your favorite sports.

We would be most likely attempting this introductory pilot sometime on Saturday afternoons.
