This week the food is being cooked and we still need Resturant Sized Cans of Vegetables, which can be taken to the Church Tuesday 11/14/23 to Thursday 11/16/23 from 10:30am to 6pm
(6121 Cedar Ave, Phila PA 19143).
Additional Volunteers are needed on 11/20/23, which is when the meals will be individually put together; however, VOLUNTEERS must first attend a VOLUNTEERS training on 11/18/23 from 10am to 12pm at the Church of Christian Compassion (6121 Cedar Ave, Phila PA 19143) to be trained and hear all of the other ways they can help. We know there is A LOT of good in our Community🤓, and they also work hard and are super focused on remaining positive!
One of those good people is Brotha Julio Cooley, who went to College for Architecture and graduated with Honors, and since he was in High School, he was focused on being an Architect.
We are proud to know that he is a BIM technician now too! He shared this week that his job is really interesting and that it fits his skill set perfectly!
We also love that he is currently working on a Hospital project in Florida.
