What is one thing you are working on to be more Christ-like right now?

If we don’t see what God’s purpose nor His specific directions to follow in a given situation, then we need to discover the right directions — through specific, similar scriptural examples. Then we need to be obedient by following His words when they point out the directions He says are best for us to take.

Doing that, we’ll also discover that He’ll always shine the light of His glory on the path we should take.

All that’s accomplished when we have a distinct familiarity with His Word. That knowledge enables us to diligently pursue finding a situation in His Word that was similar enough — seeing it’s spiritual principles — and make application. That is exactly what I love coaching men to understand.

ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS OF CQM:
-To provide eight levels of discipleship: scripture study )the basis of all truth), seminars, books, lectures, visual aids and discipleship.
-To instruct men around the world to illustrate Christ literally, on a moment-to-moment basis by utilizing life and marriage as the way to perfect Christ-likeness.
-To provide a Bible-based, college level, mentoring ministry for men as a way of accomplishing these subjects.

The definition of anxiety is:
a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome.

How many times a day do you feel like this?

We will, and should (just like the Christ did), experience emotions in the pursuit of Christ-likeness. Since God created emotions, they too are to serve His purposes. I really enjoy helping men understand God’s purposes for their emotions.

Every day do something that will lead you closer to God.

Merely living life is not our problem. Life happens! However, since Adam (not Eve) caused men to acquire a sin nature, the struggle for us is having a spirit-to-Spirit relationship with God—like Jesus had/has.
So, how do I achieve the kind of Christ-likeness Jesus had? I had to draw upon my wife Nancy’s help (the title God gave her) to help me discover, what, where, and how my sin nature was the strongest deterrent to me being a living illustration of the Christ to her and to God. Making that decision was because of my discovery (through the Apostle Paul) of my sin nature, and the consequential desperate pursuit of how to defeat it.

No matter what you might be facing right now or what comes up in the future, remember two things God is with you and He's in control.

This is a true story that begins in sorrow but has a happy ending that you won’t want to miss hearing. With God, nothing’s impossible!

Two young kids, in love, head over heels, spending every moment together till they weren’t…

Nancy came from a healthy home with siblings and parents who were together for life while Ken came from an unhealthy broken home and grew up in orphanages. Ken’s lack of family, lonely upbringing and total ignorance of how to understand a woman led to countless struggles for him and Nancy to deal with. It wasn’t until they began their own family where Nancy decided no more.

Upon this decision, coupled with God convicting Ken and his failures, their journey turned a corner… slowly but surely, God was guiding them towards understanding their marital roles. As they both worked hard at becoming who God wanted them to be, their lives and the lives of those around them began to benefit from the renewing of their minds and hearts.
