The Flinn Foundation and Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance are seeking a call for artist entries for an original mission-focused gallery exhibition, “From Micro to Macro,” at the Flinn Foundation building near downtown Phoenix.
The bioscience-themed show will showcase the connection between art and health care and explore the themes of scientific discovery, research, exploration, illness, and recovery inspired by medical imaging technologies.
The submission deadline is Friday, July 19.
The exhibition in the foundation’s lobby and conference center will run from August through January 2025. An opening night reception is scheduled for Aug. 20.

The Flinn Foundation has been honored this spring to display works from the Uncommon Knowledge art exhibition in its lobby and conference center that combines our dedication to Arizona artists and the biosciences.
The exhibition is a partnership between the Tucson-based Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance and Roche Tissue Diagnostics that highlights the value of regular disease screenings and patient self-advocacy. The artwork, which tells the stories of 21 Roche employees as interpreted by 14 literary and visual artists, hopes to change the way we take notice of and manage our health.
