Yesterday, Amy Laughlin, RDF's SVP of New Markets Tax Credit, joined National Association for Latino Community Asset Builders (NALCAB) Access to Capital Panel to highlight our strategies for utilizing New Markets Tax Credits (an allocation provided by the US Dept of Treasury) as an impactful financial tool and valuable resource for community development entities.
With RDF's allocation, we have been able to expand access to education, social services, healthcare and housing in underserved communities.

Our affiliate Mountain Park Health Center is expanding access to affordable healthcare in South Phoenix! RDF is excited to support the renovation of its Jesse Owens Clinic, a medical home for the local community, that will soon offer internal medicine, pharmacy and more. Phoenix clinic named after Olympic legend Jesse Owens is getting a remodel Mountain Park Health Care acquired the Jesse Owens Clinic shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic. The clinic had closed just before the pandemic hit.
In 2023, RDF provided investments to expand healthcare access for over 66,000 patients annually across the country.
