DHS acaba de anunciar un nuevo proceso para que ciertos cónyuges no ciudadanos de estadounidenses, que han vivido en EE.UU. por más de 10 años y no representan una amenaza, puedan solicitar permisos de permanencia temporal.
Con este permiso, podrán solicitar la residencia permanente sin salir del país. Se estima que esto beneficiará a unos 500,000 cónyuges y 50,000 hijos.
Los invitamos este lunes a las 6:30 pm aqui en Puente para que estén informados del proceso y cómo prepararse.

As HCR 2060 is being heard today in the AZ Senate, we remain deeply concerned about these recurring legislative attempts that could harm our communities and disrupt livelihoods. We're also tired of the prolonged legislative battles dragging this issue out and creating confusion among our communities.
The legislative process often feels like a game, and we're not interested in playing it. Instead of getting caught up in legislative chisme, we will continue to focus on empowering our communities through our own programs and initiatives.
Our strength lies in our unity and our dedication to creating lasting change at the grassroots level. While the legislative process unfolds, we remain dedicated to building a better future for our community.

Beautiful morning at our food bank! Our next one will be on March 18th. Reminder that we hold a food bank every 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month unless there is a holiday. Times may vary so be on the look out! Usually starts in the morning until supplies run out.
