Nothing hits harder than the unexpected. One day you have a job, the next day you don't. Globally, "you" turned "we" in seconds and left millions of people with no where to turn.

On Tuesday, March 17th 2020, twenty hardworking and just flat out wonderful humans were let go from Tuck Shop Kitchen & Bar. The abrupt decision was to comply with measures the government took to ensure the public's safety from COVID-19. Most small businesses like us were of the first to close their doors, we really had no choice.

All of the staff at Tuck dedicated most of their lives working in the hospitality industry. Their undeniable talent and drive to provide the best experience for our guests was, and still is inspiring. I am lucky to know each and everyone of them, why I must do anything I can to help them out during this time. With little to no answers on when the dust will settle and everything can go back to the way it was, I am asking our friends, family and community to come together. All contributions will go directly to the staff, ensuring they can pay utilities, rent, buy groceries, gas and any other needs they may have to sustain their well being.

These guys are like a second family to me. Hopefully someday when Tuck reopens it's door, you can drop by and feel that love!
