The vision of AZ ASSIST is to be a supportive community where families with teens and young adults on the autism spectrum are empowered with the knowledge of public and private services and opportunities so that individuals can live as independently as they choose and access a variety of employment options, post-secondary education and social opportunities.

General information

East Valley Support Group meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of every month (except December) from 7-9pm at 2150 East Southern Avenue in Tempe (southwest corner of 101 & Southern).

West Valley Support Group meeting are held on the 1st Thursday of every month from 6:30-8:30pm at the Peoria Community Center.

Our meeting topics focus on a variety of transition issues including IEPs, graduation, employment, independent living, adult resources, secondary education, etc.

Teens & young adults are encouraged to come and hang out with video games, board games, card games, air hockey, snacks & drinks. It's a great opportunity to make friends & socialize. $5 for teens/young adults. Free for parents & professionals.
