In the Kibarani community, children living with physical disabilities often face social ostracization due to prevailing stigmas.

To address this issue, we partnered with CURE Kenya to host mobile clinics to identify and link children with orthopedic disabilities to special health services.

This initiative provides a safe haven for community members to bring their children for assessment and treatment.

Mueni was among many who lost their jobs when the pandemic hit.

She decided to relocate to the countryside rather than remain in the city without employment.

But the minivan that Mueni was traveling in was involved in an accident and rolled three times, leaving Mueni unconscious.
