Happy International Self Care Day! Did you know that The Foster Alliance offers remote volunteering opportunities building self care kits for teens in foster care for their birthdays? Recently, our friends from T.W. Lewis Foundation joined us to build some self care kits with items donated from Plexus Worldwide! Thank you for helping us make sure teens in foster care feel special on their birthday!

The incredible team at Sunland Asphalt & Construction, LLC stopped by this week to generously donate $15,500 to The Foster Alliance! That is enough to provide 443 backpacks filled with school supplies to children in foster care going back to school this year. Thank you so much to the Sunland Cares program for helping us make sure children in foster care have the things they need to thrive! 💙

When the community comes together, children in foster care WIN! Our amazing friends at the IDEX foundation and Flow Management Devices purchased $10,000 worth of donations to build personal care kits and essential needs kits for children in foster care in celebration of their 10 year anniversary! Thank you for helping us make sure children in foster care have the things they need to thrive. ❤️

It's that time of year again! These two young choose to celebrate their birthdays each year by giving back to children in foster care! We were so excited to see them again this year when they stopped by to drop off some brand new school supplies for our Back to School Drive. ✏️

1,100 backpacks packed and dropped off in Tucson for children in foster care in Southern AZ ✅🎒

We are so excited to share everything you need to know about Back to School season at The Foster Alliance. 🎒

Beginning July 8th through August, The Foster Alliance Resource Center will have backpacks and school supplies included in our shopping experience. Foster families and advocates are welcome to come in anytime during our shopping hours to receive back to school essentials for the child(ren) in their care. ✏️

In addition to the supplies given out at the TFA Resource Center, we will also be doing two Back to School Pop-Ups in Mesa and Tolleson! Let us know which pop-up you're coming to at the link below under the "Back to School" tab. 🚐

El Patron New Mexican Restaurant & Cantina Scottsdale will be donating proceeds from meals purchased in-store on Friday, June 14th to The Foster Alliance in celebration of National New Mexico Day! As you may know, The Foster Alliance supports foster children in New Mexico that are a part of the Navajo Nation. Your support of El Patron and The Foster Alliance on Friday could help provide essentials, such as shoes and clothing, to children on a foster care journey.

We ❤️ Scottsdale Charros! We couldn't be more grateful for the at The Charro Foundation for awarding The Foster Alliance with a generous grant of $22,500! That's enough to provide 562 children in foster care with a brand new outfit. Thank you Scottsdale Charros for helping us make sure children in foster care have the things they need to thrive! ⭐

Our furriest stopped in for a visit this week with a $200 donation towards our Back to School program! That's enough to provide nearly 30 children in foster care with a pack of brand new socks to start the year off right. Thank you, Murphi and Linus! 🐾
