The Easter celebration is much more than a memorial to Christ, who died for our sins. It's a celebration of thanks for the greatest gift ever bestowed upon mankind.

Like the seed buried in the ground, You have produced the harvest of eternal life for us; make us always dead to sin and alive to God.

Today I kneel in silent adoration of You, my God. I sit quietly, beholding the great mystery of our faith. I behold God, beaten, bruised, mocked, tortured and killed. But in this act, I see all grace and Mercy flowing from Your wounded Heart. Bathe the world in Your Mercy, dear Lord. Cover us with Your grace and draw us to new life through Your death. I love You, dear Lord. I love You with all my heart. Jesus, I trust in You.

My Most Precious Lord Jesus, this night You gathered with Your Apostles to share with them Your last meal. But this was no ordinary meal. This was the gift of Your most Sacred Body and Blood, soon to be broken and poured out on the Cross for the salvation of the world.

In our Gospel, Jesus works his mightiest miracle - raising Lazarus from the dead. He is our Resurrection, the source of life for ALL who believe. This is something the Apostles would come to know fully only after the Resurrection of Jesus - when he appeared to them in the Upper Room.

O most admirable and loving St. Francis Xavier, in union with you, we adore the Divine Majesty. While joyfully giving thanks to God for the wonderful graces, which God conferred upon you in life, and for the greater glory with which God has gifted you in heaven, we come to you with heartfelt love, asking you to secure for us, by your powerful intercession, the precious blessings of living and dying in the state of grace.
We also ask you to obtain the favors we seek in this Novena.
