DYK that transgender people have higher risks of chronic health conditions?
This can mean earlier experiences with disability. It can also mean higher rates of disability overall. This community also faces difficulties when accessing healthcare. This is especially true for transgender people of color. We know that all people with disabilities deserve affirming and accessible health care.
The Program wants people from all walks of life to help make health history. With a better understanding of our health, we can make sure everyone receives the care they need.

Today marks the end of Disability Pride Month. π«
Hear from our members about what disability pride means to them and share your own thoughts in the comments below. πβ¨
Ability360 takes immense pride in being part of the journey towards equality and empowerment.
This month, as we celebrate the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, National Disability Independence Day and Disability Pride month, Ability360 President and CEO Chris Rodriguez and other Ability360 staff joined a large group of advocates as we marched through Washington D.C. to meet with legislatures and address critical issues affecting people with disabilities.
As we honor the ADA and embrace Disability Pride, Ability360 encourages you to find opportunities to advocate for yourself, people in the community and share your story with policy makers.
