If you love rhinos, love bowling, and love conservation, this is the event for you! The event occurs at Arsenal Bowling on Sat, August 17th. ALL proceeds go to protecting and conserving rhinos.
Tickets include bowling, a t-shirt, food, and the opportunity to participate in some really awesome raffles and silent auctions. We would really love to see you there!

Bowling for Rhinos registration is now open!! Bowl as a single or in teams of up to 6. Don’t want to bowl but would still like to join in on the fun? We have a spectator option as well! Either way, be sure to register before July 14!

The Crash is back once again and ready to “Strike Out Extinction”! Bowling For Rhinos will be held Saturday, August 17 from 6-9pm at Arsenal Lanes 🎳🦏

Happy Foraging Friday! Our wonderful AAZK vice president Shanna sent us a couple of great videos of fun foraging enrichment for the Pittsburgh Zoo's rescue Green sea turtles! They are doing great and are on their way to returning to the ocean soon 💙
A big shout out to those who participated in our Honeygrow fundraiser over the weekend! With your help, we were able to raise a little over $45 for our chapter. It may not seem like much, but every little bit helps!
Wasn’t able to make it to this fundraiser? No problem! Be on the lookout for future opportunities…. We have a variety of events planned for this year!! We are just getting started. 😊

One week till our Chipotle fundraiser!! Have you marked your calendar yet?
Mark your calendars to have Chipotle for dinner on November 4!! One month from today, Chipotle on Freeport Road will be hosting a fundraiser for our chapter from 4-8pm. 33% of the money raised will go to our chapter and all you have to do is show this flyer in the store or use the code on the flyer when ordering online. Spread the word!! 🌯
A few of our chapter members are currently attending the AAZK National Conference in Akron, Ohio. Shout out to Brianna Crane who presented on her paper that was featured in the Animal Keeper’s Forum earlier this year. Word on the town is she did a fantastic job and even received an Excellence in Journalism award!

Less than 2 weeks until Turtle Day 2023! And we’re making a weekend of it again this year, with Double Beer Release Saturday and Smokeout Sunday. We took inspiration from Yertle the Turtle for the beers: “King of the Pond” Hazy IPA and “King of the Mud” Coffee Banana Ale. Stay tuned for Smokeout menu details. As always, a portion of sales will benefit our friends
