It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of PJ Maloney, who left us on August 17, 2024. For over two decades, PJ was a dedicated member of the Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation's board, playing a vital role in the revitalization of the community he cherished. He was always there with a smile, an encouraging word, and a helping hand. His unwavering commitment and kindness will be deeply missed. Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time. We are forever grateful for his many years of service and the lasting impact he made.

Garfield Sculpture Project Kick Off Party! Sunday Sept 15 from 1pm-4pm at 225 N. Fairmount st. 15206
The Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation and Most Wanted Fine Art announce the launch of a Scattered Site Sculpture Project for Garfield Greenzone. The inaugural sculpture was funded by the Duolingo Community Arts Program Grant. The Kick Off Party is scheduled for Sunday Sept 15th from 1 to 5pm at 225 N. Fairmount st. 15206. In addition to the first sculpture being unveiled, there will also be art cars, snacks, hands on activities, and a School Supply Give away.
Families with Children 5 to 19 can sign up for school supplies. Students must live in Garfield, Bloomfield, Friendship, or East Liberty. Supplies are limited and not guaranteed. Supplies have been collected by Meles Gifts & Party Planning & Most Wanted Car Club . Supplies will be distributed Sunday Sept 15 from 1pm-4pm at 225 N. The Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation oversees all departments and programs of the organization. This staff person reports directly to the Executive Director and is responsible for day-to-day operations, other than housing development and preservation initiatives. The COO ensures that all activities align with the organization's mission and vision.
