The reimagining of 111 Massachusetts Avenue NW at Georgetown University's Capitol Hill Campus in Washington, DC will transform this 310,000 SF building originally constructed in 1983. We are proud to work on this project with SmithGroup and Whiting-Turner. The completed renovation will provide an exterior transformation that evokes Georgetown’s visual identity and heritage and an innovative interior space for a multi-use educational facility.

With the design phase complete and construction underway, we can’t wait to see the finished product in the Fall of 2025.

We collaborated with Domokur & Associates and Bohlin Cywinski Jackson on the acoustical design for the renovation and addition for the Design Innovation Hub at Kent State University. An adaptive re-use of the John Andrews-designed, 1970s-era former art building at the center of campus, the DI Hub serves as a focal point for the University-wide innovation ecosystem. The space includes labs, makerspaces, open meeting and gallery areas, and an extensive dining hall.

Taking existing buildings and giving them an entirely new purpose requires our services to ensure the acoustics of the building will match the new intention for the space.
