Pittsburgh authorizes $785,000 in pandemic-relief funds for artists 09/12/2024

Since 2022, the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council has been urging the City of Pittsburgh to create an equitable and impactful plan to spend its “support for the arts” money. Thanks to the collective voices and actions of many within the arts community, we're thrilled to see that the City has just authorized $785,000 in pandemic-relief funds for the arts. This funding will support both public art programming and individual artists hurt by the pandemic.

Creative Sector Flex Fund 08/20/2024

📣 There are only two weeks left to apply for a $5,000 grant from the Creative Sector Flex Fund!

This grant program from the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts provides $5,000 to arts organizations in Allegheny, Beaver, Greene, and Washington counties with average annual revenues between $10,000 - $200,000.

Applications are open through September 2, 2024. Organizations that do not have non-profit status are eligible to apply using a 501c3 fiscal sponsor.

Creative Sector Flex Fund Previously known as Entry to Program Stream and Program Stream, the new Creative Sector Flex Fund provides $5,000 grants to arts organizations.

✨GRANT OPENING: Applications are now open for the Creative Sector Flex Fund

This returning grant program provides $5,000 grants to arts organizations in Allegheny, Beaver, Greene, and Washington counties with average annual revenues between $10,000 - $200,000.

Grantees have the flexibility to use the funds in ways that ensure the greatest impact for their organizations and communities. Eligible uses of funds are flexible, including the support of applicants’ administrative, programmatic, and project-related expenses.

🚨 LAST CHANCE: You have until this Thursday, August 1 to apply for the Artist Income Recovery (AIR) Grant program, supporting the economic recovery of individual artists and arts & culture professionals from the COVID-19 pandemic through a one-time $3,000 grant.

The funding is reserved for individual artists and arts & culture professionals working in all disciplines who have experienced a disruption to their income stream in Pennsylvania during the COVID-19 pandemic (March 2020-December 2022). Available to eligible artists and arts & culture professionals in Allegheny, Greene, Beaver, and Washington counties.
