Pittsburgh Police are searching for a missing and at risk senior.
Kathleen Sacco, 75, has dementia and at approximately 7:30 p.m. on July 11, 2024 she
wandered away from family near the intersection of Liberty Avenue and Edmond Street, towards Essex Way/the Busway.
Kathleen is described as 5’4”, 130, with blonde hair and green eyes. She was last wearing white capri pants, a pink print top, and white shoes. She was also carrying a small brown purse.

BDC would like to remind residents that as of Friday, April 19, 2024, the Bloomfield PNC will be officially consolidating with the East Liberty branch. The new PNC branch (161 S St Clair Street, Pittsburgh PA 15206) will open on Monday, April 22.
The PNC ATM at 4761 Liberty Ave will still be in operation for use by residents.
PNC customers should have received this information in the mail, but if you have any questions, please contact PNC at 1-877-755-4513.
Superintendent Wayne N. Walters, EdD, along with district leaders, will be presenting the Proposed Facilities Utilization Plan during this evening's Board of Education Committee Meeting. The plan, developed at the direction of the Board of Directors, aims to promote equity, excellence, and efficiency throughout the District. It outlines strategic recommendations for optimizing facility usage across the district to enrich the educational experience for all students. Grounded in a strong commitment to community engagement, the plan underscores the significance of outreach and collaboration with community members to ensure its efficacy.
