Hi All,
It's looking like we are going for another grow-out adventure. This time it's open to all reefkeepers with the coral species being a durable ultra neon green toadstool lineage. While a tank full of these can be allelopathic (sending out chemicals to hurt things dissimilar genetically), as a standalone in a reef, especially with carbon and/or skimmer, this is a great mixed reef option. Join us at the June 8th (Saterday!) meeting and hear the famous Julian Sprung give expert advice. Then, free corals will be distributed and start weights and measures will be taken for the first 15ish members to sign up( priority to newer members)! We will grow until and likely do a weigh in at the Dec 7 holiday fiesta with the prize being an autographed photo of our president Jeff Turner and more prizes to be revealed soon. Maybe a stanley cup sized huge championship trophy? Happy reefing.
